Forest Upcycling Project
Since 2014, the Forest Upcycling Project has been transforming lives and reducing waste across our communities. We are a registered charity that collects unwanted furniture and electrical items, giving them a second life by refurbishing and reselling them at affordable prices. This not only helps protect the environment by reducing landfill but also ensures essential household items remain accessible to everyone.
Forest Upcycling Project is now proud to operate as a linked charity with Think Upcycle CIC, working in partnership to expand our environmental and social impact both locally and internationally. Together, we support reuse, skills development, and sustainable community projects in the UK and overseas.
We operate three community-focused stores in Cinderford, Chepstow, and Cwmbran, where we proudly support and employ disabled and vulnerable individuals, providing opportunities, training, and pathways into work.
Our impact reaches even further. Proceeds from our second-hand book sales and upcycling initiatives help fund vital community and sustainability projects in Uganda through our partnership with Think Upcycle CIC.
